Saltwater Saturdays

Come with your child and experience a morning in an Early Childhood program at Saltwater Waldorf School. Our next Parent Council meeting is Thursday October 29, 2015 at the Playhouse Cafe from 2-3.  All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.  We will be discussing the following:
a. Committees: The need for people to be on committees.  The following are just a few of the committees that we need help with:

Nature and Crafts Summer Day Camp

Join Sara Mullin for a one week summer school program connecting craft and handwork with the natural world. Classes will be held in the Kindergarten room as well as the field at Cousins Park. Sara brings a background in textiles, arts and crafts, yoga and a passion for our local environment. Camp dates: July 27-31 and August 4-7 from 9-3. Cost: $150 plus $40 for materials. Saltwater School Bottle Drive – May 20

The Saltwater School bottle drive will happen from 5-7 pm on Tuesday May 20. Please sign up at the office to collect, transport bottles and/or sort. The bottle drive will occur in the Puntledge area between 1st Street and Powerhouse Road. Stay tuned for more details.

Saltwater School Open House – May 3 and June 7

The Saltwater School will be holding an open house on Saturday, May 3 and Saturday, June 7 at 2311 Rosewall Crescent. We would like to offer new families looking for a school for their children an opportunity to learn more about Waldorf Education and tour our building. Come and meet our teachers and ask your questions! We look forward to meeting you.

Saltwater School Contra Dance – May 24

Every year the Saltwater Parent Group organizes a school dance. Join us at the Little Red Church in Comox for some fiddle music, dancing and tasty snacks.
