*Registration Form below... Parent and Child Programs at the Saltwater School offer a warm and alive environment for young children and their parent or caregiver. Play, natural crafts, songs and finger plays, shared snack and a puppet play fill our mornings together. A typical class includes:
Free play time with carefully chosen natural materials;
Baking bread and preparing a healthy snack together;
Exploring an aspect of storytelling and working on a craft activity related to our theme;
Group circle time, with seasonal games and songs;
Outdoor play in the Early Childhood playground
Each class meets on a weekly basis, with three terms available through the year (fall, winter and spring). The classes are designed for babies up to children aged three. Younger siblings and/ or a second parent may also attend. There is a vibrant community at Saltwater and families enrolled in our programs are invited to participate in festivals, parent evenings, work parties and craft nights.
Fees: Families can register per term or for the full year and can chose between our Tuesdays or Thursday groups.
Full Year - $500 for 26 classes
Fall, Winter and Spring terms: $180 for each 9 week term consisting of 1 session/week or
Drop-in option: $20 per session.
If registering for the full year (all three 9 week sessions) you will receive a 5% discount.

Drop-in Information: Class options include Tuesday or Thursday from 9-11am. To drop-in email Michelle at email@example.com AT LEAST 24 hours in advance. In email include name of adult and child attending and child’s birthdate and any allergies. You will receive a return email to confirm if there is space to attend, and if so also a program overview. Pay drop-in fee ($20 cash or cheque) in office on day of class prior to attending. Drop-ins are not included in crafting project and book study.
Tuition Payment Options:
Annually - One annual payment payable prior to the first day of the first class
By Session - Payment payable prior to the first day of each session.
Drop-in Payments - $20 payable either by cash or cheque on the day you drop-in
The Saltwater Waldorf School uses the CAFT or Customer Automated Funds Transfer system in order to receive tuition. Parents are required to provide a void cheque and fill out a Pre-Authorized Debit Form.
This program is for children 12 months to 3 years old. Accompanying siblings do not pay until they reach 12 months of age (prior to session commencement). A Sibling discount of 30% will be applied to the Parent & Child tuition when 2 or more siblings are registered in any of Saltwater School’s programs (Parent & Child, Preschool, Kindergarten or Grades 1-7).
All registrations are processed on a first come first served basis
Pre-registration is required, even for drop-in
Trial class available for $25 fee, space permitting
Saltwater Waldorf School reserves the right to make cancellations or changes as necessary
A $10 handling charge will be collected on N.S.F. cheques
All requests for refunds will be processed with a full refund up to 7 days before the start of the program. After this time, pro-rated refunds will be processed with a $10 administration fee up until the completion of the third class. Following this no refunds will be given except for medical reasons with a doctor’s note.
If a class is cancelled, a make-up class will be scheduled if possible
